We have a lot of fun updates going on. One of the things we’ve started is expanding to Instagram and TikTok. We need to start having our ecosystem, games, and messaging appeal to a Web2 audience, which means the type of content we post and growth channels we use. We are so blessed and grateful for our Web3 community, and now we are trying to get our mission out to more people. Expect experiments with core Pixels accounts and content geared towards a variety of people. The reality is, there is a really negative stigma associated with crypto due to many reasons, so we’re trying to create an ecosystem that appeals to outside users who might be found on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube shorts. We’ll also be having a whole UGC platform on Stacked, where we’ll reward you for creating social media content.
We’re still releasing constant updates in the core game and a big priority is making the game as fun as it can be. There’s a lot of work to do for the next stage of growth: making the game more fun and figuring out how to sustainably grow the game with the right audience, outside of Web3 as well. The initial findings with Chubkins have been extremely positive and we’re going to take all of the lessons we’ve learned and move them into core Pixels. We’ll start to move more earnings in the core game into the new offer system. The ideal situation will be having most of your earnings coming from Stacked, which will be our growth engine.

The Animal Care update is finally almost here and it will be a massive update that will be part of an even more enormous update. Expect it to launch Monday or Tuesday!
Existing animals:
Cow, Turkey, Sheep, Slug, Chicken, Bee
New animals:
Pig, Goat, Duck, Dragon
Current animals will be Legacy Animals. Other animals eventually mature and move to their forever homes. Legacy animals are permanent and will have updated drops.
🐣 Offspring & Incubation
Each animal has 4 types of baby animals that come from offspring. How it works:
Purchase an Incubator at the Pet Store
Create Incuvite Potions: 5 potions per offspring (potion type determines the offspring’s traits)
Hatch & Raise: Offspring vary in lifespan and drop quality
Placement: Baby animals can be placed on NFT lands or Specks

Yes. There will be an update to surplus.
Can you get these at random?

What is needed to get offsprings
You need to go to one of the Legacy Animals, feed it, and hopefully receive an offspring.
Will baby animals give same rewards as legacy?
Yes but they are the only ones that give offspring.
Are offspring drops included in land surplus?
Yes.

These are not pets, they are farm animals that you have on your land.

Can you please move the UGC minting from Buck’s over to Decor building?
We can probably move it over there.
What will happen to coop and slugs? How will Buoy Bucks be relevant in this update?
Those are converted to new animals. Legacy Animals can be bought for Buoy Bucks, apart from Coops and Slugs.
What do new animals eat?
There are different foods for each animal that you will craft in the Recycler. Sheep and Pigs also eat Choco Sauce.
More silo slots with new surplus for LO?
Silo storage has not been updated because land owners have not been able to agree on a solution yet.
I still don’t get like I got a Penguin pet, what will I get? Is it a pet or animal, and what’s the utility of these babies?
This new update is for Animal Care, not pets. We recently did a Pet update that you can find on the Pixels Post. Animal Care update will be for animals on your land and they will give resources, which you can use across the game. It’s a new game loop.
Are offspring tradable?
They are not tradable.
Do animal care skill levels matters in this new update?
Yes, the level matters on what you can receive from offspring.
What about apiaries?
There will be a maximum of 100. Everything else is 300.
Will we be able to get potion tables, or will it be like wineries, which are the privilege of a select few?
They can be bought at the Pet Store.
Will the legacy animals continue to be in gachas in addition to the buoy bucks purchases? Will there be purchase limits?
There will be purchase limits. There will be animals given out in various ways over time.
Can you add more offers?
This is the next focus for the core game team.
Are there any initiatives to get DAU higher on core pixels atm?
That’s the whole thing we’re working on and why we think we need new growth and channels.

The announcement is that we have a whole new growth channel that we’re working on developing. There’s also a content strategy shift, but this is all going to be baked into Stacked as a whole UGC platform, where we reward people for making content.
Will offspring grow and become Legacy? Or how can we get more? They breed?
No. Offspring will leave the realm once they mature.
Pixels used to have 100k+ users despite crypto login, what changed? Different user group aim?
When Pixels had its peak DAU, the RORS were significantly under 1. In June 2024, we had about a million daily active users and gave out 100k+ rewards daily but received $50-60k in daily revenue, which wasn’t sustainable. The next phase in building out a play-to-earn ecosystem is user growth with precise and targeted rewards.
I think the main problem for new players is the high reputation threshold. What are you planning to do about it?
This is why I wanted to move more of our earnings into the Stacked platform. We have better ways to give out rewards in a targeted way than reputation.
Can you add more $vPIXEL offers? I’m not getting a single $vPIXEL
We’re going to spend a little more time after the Animal Care update is out to go out and make sure the offer system is 1 to 1 with current earnings.
Make an ad already. I think Pixels is ready for new players. Don’t make it like a scam or too good to be true. make it more realistic.
We will once we get the right format down, which is why we’ve been experimenting with Chubkins ads.
